The Ninth Gate School of Medical Intuition

Ninth Gate logo

The Ninth Gate School of Medical Intuition is the manifestation of a dream born into Dr. Martin's consciousness over 40 years ago, but it never came to fruition until the season was correct. Through prayer and the blessings of the ancestors, Dr. Martin proudly brought this school into existence.

The origin of the name, "Ninth Gate," can be understood in this way. As we know mathematically, the number 9 is the last single-digit number, which is the "gateway" back to the beginning, the number 1. This completes our sacred circle, the number 0, which is at the same time everything and nothing. The "Ninth Gate" also represents the opening of the ninth chakra to a conscious awareness of what the great psychologist Carl Jung called the "collective unconscious," or the "Mind of God."

The Ninth Gate School of Medical Intuition works to create a more compassionate, open-minded and effective model of health care and health education. This model combines the precision of modern science with the wisdom of ancient healing. The school addresses the mental, emotional, social, and spiritual, as well as the physical dimensions of health and illness. The school emphasizes the uniqueness of each person. It is grounded in a conviction that all of us have a great and largely untapped capacity through our intuitive abilities to understand ourselves, to improve our own health and well-being, and to help one another.

Schedule of Classes

Over the course of 2 years, classes will meet 36 weeks per year for a total of approximately 40 to 45 days. Each day will have 8 hours of class time, not including breaks. For the most part, classes will meet once a week. A few times during the year, classes will meet twice a week. These dates will be announced at the beginning of the semester.

There will also be a practicum that must be done in a clinic setting. This may be done in our Lansing, Michigan office, or in another office of your choice.

The projected total classroom hours for the 2 years is approximately 700 hours. This does not include the practicum or independent home study time.

Tuition and Fees

We expect the cost for the 2 years to be approximately $7500. Half of the total amount ($3750) is due in full at the beginning of each year. At this time, we do not offer financial aid. However, through the grace of The Mystery Wakan Tanka, there is a possibility that you may be able to write this fee off as a tax donation under Title 26, Section 508(c)(1)(A) of the United States code. We may be able to work out special arrangements for low or fixed income applicants. Please contact us if this is your situation.

Certification

Upon completion of all coursework, including final exams and written thesis you will have obtained the following certificates:

All of the above leads to certification as a Medical Intuitive.

Curriculum

1.  Anatomy and Physiology:  We will cover the physical and metaphysical aspects of the body's structures and their functions.

The physical study includes:

The metaphysical study includes:

2.  The Lymphatic System:  We feel this is so important that it will be taught in great detail as a course separate from anatomy and physiology. Upon completion of this part of the course you will be able to take the final exam to become a certified Lymphologist which enables you to work with patients without fear of repercussions from the A.M.A. We will also be covering the use of the lymphatic therapy device known as the "Blossom Hill." We feel this is one of the most exciting devices for electrical stimulation of the lymphatics as well as providing color therapy and ozone therapy at the cellular level.

3.  Preparing, Recommending and Using Vibrational Remedies for Healing:  We will also show you how to prepare your own remedies very quickly. These include:

4.  Massage and Hydrotherapy:  This part of the course will include a thorough understanding of the spiritual entrances into the physical body including:

5.  Iridology:  This is the art and science of being able to detect inherent strengths and weaknesses in the physical body through the study of the iris, the colored part of the eye.

Pioneered by Dr. Bernard Jensen, of Escondido, California. Dr. Martin had the great privilege of being able to spend many months with Dr. Jensen over the years, doing hundreds of personal study hours with his mentor, and he feels that this was one of his greatest honors.

This fascinating science will take us into another world of discovery and wonder, giving us a greater knowledge of the intricate workings of the various tissue, organs, and systems, and how they are interacting with one another. We will also explore the emotional patterns in the iris that Dr. Martin has put together after thousands of hours of personal research and working with over 60,000 patients.

The science of Sclerology (the study of the white of the eye), will also be touched upon during this section.

6.  Herbology:  We will be studying herbs and their components from the Native American and scientific perspectives.

Besides studying them separately, we will also learn how to correctly blend formulas from their electromagnetic patterns and by their "personalities." We will learn various techniques for preparing teas, compresses, fomentations, plasters, tinctures, fluid extracts, essences, concentrates and their correct applications.

We will also be taking herb walks to learn identification techniques by sight, smell, taste, touch, personality or doctrine of signature. We will cover correct harvest times for maximum potency as well as the respectful way of harvesting. We will discuss the difference between an herb and a weed, and other exciting things to reacquaint ourselves to the old ways. This is one of Dr. Martin's favorite subjects and we are sure you will embrace this, as well as our precious Earth, as we discover our interconnectedness through this fascinating science.

7.  Diagnostic Techniques:  You will learn how to take a thorough history using the various techniques below. Through the understanding of the auric field and the connections through the chakras/glands you will learn to medically intuit diseases in the body and their true origins in the mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. The techniques learned will include:

8.  Setting up a practice:  We will show you ways to get started with your new knowledge so that you may always work within the parameters of legal boundaries. We will also be showing you ways to open the lines of communication with the medical community so that Medical Intuits may work in harmony with them to the benefit of the patient.
